Artwork may be submitted in PDF (preferred for production-ready ads), TIF, JPG (maximum quality) or EPS file formats. Please identify all file types with the proper file extension. All fonts and graphics must be embedded within files and created for high-resolution output. Four-color artwork should be in CMYK process-color mode. Pantone® only spot colors must be changed to CMYK. Black-and-white artwork should be in grayscale color mode. For best reproduction, image resolution should be between 200-300 dpi for photos and 1200 dpi for bitmap line art.

Artwork may also be submitted in the form of application files such as QuarkXPress or InDesign. All fonts and graphics must be collected or packaged when submitted. If you do not provide the fonts, or if your font is not available in Macintosh format, we will substitute a similar font. We can not accept files created in Microsoft Word or Publisher except for visual layout and text extraction purposes.

Please keep file names limited to eight characters or less whenever possible. Multiple files should be compressed into a single file using Stuffit, WinZip or any other archiving, self-extracting program. When sending files over 3MB, please send either as individual e-mails (indicate part 1 or part 2 in the subject) or contact your sales representative for other options.

We accept web and newsletter banner advertising in GIF (.gif), JPG (.jpg), and Flash (.swf) formats. When sending Flash format we require the native flash file (.fla) to accompany the .swf file. Please indicate the connecting URL/http address when sending files.
