John Deere Launches L-Series Compact Wheel Loaders
The new John Deere 204L and 304L compact wheel loaders were built to enhance productivity in rough terrains and small spaces.
Building from its 204K and 304K models, John Deere is rolling out its new L-Series compact wheel loaders built for construction contractors, landscapers and rental center operators. The new line was designed to handle tough jobs requiring peak productivity in small spaces and on rough terrain.
The new John Deere 204L and 304L compact wheel loaders aim for higher productivity, increased uptime and lower daily operating costs.
The 62 horsepower (46 kW) 204L, and the 67 horsepower (50 kW) 304L models are equipped with Final Tier 4 Yanmar engines and hydrostatic transmissions to keep noise to a minimum. A new ride control option reduces material spillage and provides comfort over rough and uneven terrain. In addition, automatically activated front and rear differential locks provide increased traction in harsh conditions. The machine height of the 204L is also configurable to less than 8 feet.
The L-Series compact wheel loaders are also equipped with hydraulically-released, self-adjusting park and service brakes, as well as ground-level maintenance points accessibility These new models also offer extended service intervals for engine oil/filter, final drives oil and hydraulic oil.
Owners have the option of selecting an enclosed cab or open station. Each model boasts an enhanced interior-cooling system.
The L-Series compact wheel loaders are compatible with more than 100 John Deere Worksite Pro attachments. The auxiliary hydraulic control used for attachments has been moved to the primary joystick to increase attachments productivity and ease of use. An optional LED lighting package provides a more reliable light source to increase productivity in dark settings.
