Product Description

This is a complete, factory-engineered central mix concrete batch plant built by Turmac (a division of Columbia Machine, Inc., Vancouver, WA). The plant was fully engineered, fabricated, and erected on site but has never been put into production- no concrete has ever been batched or mixed through it. It has been sitting complete and idle, which is why it shows only the light surface oxidation typical of structural steel stored outdoors for several years, not wear from use. Mechanically and electrically, this is a new plant.

Plant overview
Manufacturer: Turmac, a division of Columbia Machine, Inc. (Vancouver, WA)
Product line / model:central-mix batch plant, Columbia part no. 100-10765-99

Pneumatic slide gates, bin vibrators, and hi/low level probes on every compartment
Hydraulic aggregate moisture compensation system with microwave moisture probe
30" x 52'-6" aggregate weigh conveyor with load cells and weight display, plus 30" x 13'-6" reversing conveyor and 30" x 66'-6" inclined charging conveyor
Two truck-dump stations, each with drive-over grizzly, vibrating hopper, and inclined dump conveyor (24" x 53'-6" and 24" x 108'-6"), feeding a shuttle conveyor and indexing bin-fill system
Motors (installed, per electrical schedule)
Mixer drive (40 HP), aggregate incline conveyors (25 HP and 15 HP), aggregate incline belt (20 HP), aggregate weigh belt (20 HP), charging belt (10 HP), washout pump (9 HP), twin cement screws (7.5 HP each), shuttle belt (7.5 HP), shuttle index (2 HP), plus dust collector and vibrator motors.

Included documentation
The sale includes the complete set of Columbia Machine engineering drawings for this plant: general arrangement and foundation/anchor bolt drawings with full loading tables, structural fabrication drawings for every bin, conveyor, and platform, the process flow/P&ID diagram, and the full electrical field-wiring schematic for the Batchmatic Millennium control system. This documentation makes re-erection and permitting at a new site straightforward for any qualified rigger or contractor.
