2010 Ford F-450 SD REGULAR CAB PICKUP 2-DR 6.4L V8 OHV 32V TURBO DIESEL This ambulance was purchased to be remounted on a new chassis. However, the box did not fit the new chassis, and we were unable to use this for our squad. The following information was provided by the previous owner when we purchased the ambulance approximately three years ago: "This 2010 ambulance is owned by small volunteer department. In August of 2019 Tasca Ford in Cranston, RI installed a remanufactured 6.4 diesel engine. The ambulance has approximately 126,000 miles on the body, the remanufactured engine has approximately 7,000 miles. Ambulance was replaced in February 2022 and taken out of service. The body of the ambulance shows it's age, there is some minor body cosmetic issues and some rub rails damaged or missing. In September of 2019 the entire fuel system was replaced from fuel tank to high pressure fuel pump. In September of 2019 all tire were replaced. The ambulance has been totally gone through by the department's mechanic, and it runs and operates appropriately for its age." Since 2023 it has been sitting pretty much unused except for starting (boosting) it up every once in a while, for a drive around the yard. The suspension system needs repair (rides low and bounces)."
