2011 Spartan Gladiator Aerial FIRE TRUCK. VEHICLE STARTS AND RUNS. CAT C-13 DIESEL ENGINE WITH 10289 HOURS. ALLISON AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THAT IS OPERABLE. This unit suffered a suspension failure on front drive axel. This suspension on each axel is basically two main J shaped Equalizing Beams that have a Transverse Beam to connect them where the Air Bags rest on each side. The top end of the Equalizing Beams bolt into brackets under the Frame and comedown and to the rear (in J shape) and the Transverse Beam attaches to the lower right and left side end of the Beams, and the Air Bag mounts rest directly on top of the corner on each side. The failure happened on the passenger’s side at the rear of the Equalizing Beam, directly under the Air Bag mount where the Transverse Beam connects. It sheared the mounting stud for the Transverse Beam off flush. This will need the Equalizing Beam for both sides, the Transverse Beam, Bags Mounts etc. Included is the list of parts COT was looking at. ONLY the Air bags were in stock with REV Group (owner of Spartan) all other parts are either “Out of Stock” (OOS) or out for a quote on an expected TimeLine and Price, neither of which were available at the time. **GovDeals.com is the online auction platform where you can bid on and buy government surplus**
