2017 Bell B30E Articulated Dump Truck

The 2017 Bell B30E is a heavy-duty articulated haul truck engineered for high-production earthmoving, quarrying, mining, road construction, and large-scale site development applications. Designed to deliver a combination of payload capacity, fuel efficiency, operator comfort, and all-terrain mobility, the B30E is one of Bell Equipment's most popular 30-ton-class articulated dump trucks. The B30E is equipped with a Mercedes-Benz OM936LA six-cylinder turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine producing approximately 329 horsepower (246 kW) and 1,300 Nm (958 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is paired with an Allison 3500PR fully automatic transmission featuring six forward and one reverse gear. This combination provides smooth power delivery, excellent gradeability, and reliable performance under heavy loads. Designed for demanding production environments, the B30E offers a rated payload of 28 metric tons (approximately 30.9 U.S. tons) and a dump body capacity of approximately 18 cubic meters (23.5 cubic yards). The Bell B30E utilizes a permanent six-wheel-drive configuration with automatic differential locking and traction management systems. The articulated steering design provides excellent maneuverability and allows the truck to negotiate tight job sites while maintaining traction in mud, sand, loose rock, and steep grades. The machine is capable of travel speeds up to 31 mph (50 km/h), allowing efficient haul cycles over long distances.
