Vehicle was delivered NEW to NYS tour operator in June of 2024, at that time the vehicle had a 3 year unlimted mileage Cummins warranty on the engine. In June of 2025, the operator ran over a piece of steel that pierced the engine's sheet metal oil reservoir, and the engine oil leaked out. The driver got a low oil pressure warning and instead of stopping the bus, drove it to the Cummins Service Center, Bronx, NY, for repair. Cummins determined that the driver should have towed the vehicle to them. Cummins voided the engine warranty for driving the bus with a low oil pressure warning. The operator repaired the oil reservoir and refilled the oil. The engine was started (video attached); but the computer showed there was damage to cylinder #6.

The bus was sold new for $495,000, and it had a note on it from a lender. The lender wanted a new engine, and the operator's plan was to repair the existing engine. The lender decided to repossess the bus and did so in October 2025. NYS state issued a new clear title on the bus.
