Product Description
2023 John Deere 60G is available to buy or rent from HES Equipment in Holland, MI. It comes equipped with a tiltrotator, so it's set up to do a lot more than dig a trench.
The 60G is one of the larger machines in Deere's compact excavator lineup. A Yanmar 4-cylinder diesel puts out 53 net horsepower, and with the standard arm it reaches a 12 ft 4 in max digging depth and 20 ft 5 in max reach. Its reduced-tail-swing design keeps the back of the machine tight (4 ft 3 in tail-swing radius), so you can work along foundations, fences and roads without worrying about the counterweight. Rubber tracks and a front blade round out the undercarriage for backfilling and cleanup.
This unit has an enclosed cab, and Deere lists air conditioning and heat as standard on cab models, so you can stay comfortable in a Michigan July or January. The monitor shows an auto-idle setting and an ECO power mode to help save fuel.
What really sets this machine apart is the AXXIS TR tiltrotator (powered by nox, with a GPS-ready badge). It tilts and rotates your attachment so you can grade, slope, dig around obstacles and place material from almost any angle without repositioning the machine. It's pictured with an AMI quick coupler and an AMI grapple, and it has auxiliary hydraulics and quick attach.
Buying? With just 570 hours, this late-model 2023 machine gives you modern Deere features and plenty of service life for less than new. Renting? The 60G is a great fit for utility work, site prep, drainage, landscaping, land clearing and demolition cleanup, whether you need it for a week or a season.
