The 2025 DEVELON DX140LC-7 is a 14-ton-class conventional-tail crawler excavator designed for excavation, trenching, site preparation, utility work, grading, material handling, and general construction. It combines a Develon G2 D34 four-cylinder diesel engine with a dual-pump hydraulic system and Smart Power Control to provide strong digging performance while improving fuel efficiency. The DX140LC-7 uses a high-flow dual-pump hydraulic system designed to provide smooth, responsive operation for digging, loading, trenching and attachment work. The machine is also compatible with a variety of attachments, including general-purpose and heavy-duty buckets, hydraulic breakers, quick couplers, pulverizers, crushers, grapples and compactors. The DX140LC-7 is designed around operator comfort and controllability. Features include an ergonomic cab, suspension seating, joystick controls and DEVELON's Smart Touch display/control interface. Power modes allow the operator to tailor machine performance to the application, while automatic idle and engine shutdown functions can help reduce unnecessary fuel consumption and operating hours. The LC undercarriage provides a stable platform for digging and lifting operations. The machine uses heavy-duty crawler components and approximately 600-mm (23.6-in.) track shoes in the published standard configuration. 2025 DEVELON DX140LC-7 crawler excavator powered by a DEVELON G2 D34 diesel engine producing approximately 115 HP.
