With its approximately 24.7 HP engine, 61-inch operating width, rubber-track undercarriage, and zero-tail-swing configuration, the DX27Z-7 is well suited for residential construction, utility installation, landscaping, grading, trenching, demolition, and general excavation work. The DX27Z-7's compact dimensions allow it to operate in areas where larger excavators cannot, including narrow residential lots, backyards, alleys, utility corridors, and work areas adjacent to buildings and other structures.
