2026 Rock Systems 108-3SO Conveyor

Rock Systems Portable 3 Bin Blending & Mixing System For Sand & Organics complete as follows:

a. Each hopper is 7’-2” wide x 14’ long constructed from 1/4” thick mild steel plate with rectangle tube reinforcing at the hopper top and angle iron reinforcing at the hopper mid-section and bottom section; self-relieving tapered hopper bottom opening to minimize bridging; full length skirtboards with 3/4" x 6" adjustable orange rubber flashing to prevent leakage between hopper bottom and belt feeder; heavy duty adjustable discharge gate to control material flow from each hopper; 1’-6” tall wing extensions installed on 3 sides of each hopper.

b. The sand belt feeders are 30” wide x 13’-4” long with fixed speed 7.5 h.p. electric motor, Nord helical bevel gearbox; 12” diameter head pulley with 3/8” herringbone lagging mounted on Dodge 2-15/16” SCM pillow block bearings; 12” diameter self-cleaning tail pulley mounted on Dodge 2-7/16” SCM pillow block bearings; screw take-up assemblies; tail terminal guard and side nip guards; PPI CEMA “C” flat belt idlers with 5” diameter rolls mounted on close centers; PPI CEMA “C” return idler with 5” diameter roll and return idler guard; 3 ply vulcanized endless conveyor belting; Flexco belt scraper. Belt speed setup for 67 fpm.

c. The organic belt feeder is 36” wide x 13’-4” long with fixed speed 7.5 h.p. electric motor, Nord helical bevel gearbox; 12” diameter head pulley with 3/8” herringbone lagging mounted on Dodge 2-15/16” SCM pillow block bearings; 12” diameter self-cleaning tail pulley mounted on Dodge 2-7/16” SCM pillow block bearings; screw take-up assemblies; tail terminal guard and side nip guards; PPI CEMA “C” flat belt idlers with 5” diameter rolls mounted on close centers; stub roll return idler; 3 ply vulcanized endless conveyor belting with 2” tall cleats. Belt speed setup for 67 fpm.

d. Specialty products agitator installed in the 36” belt feeder hopper with 15 h.p. electric motor, Dodge TA4207H25 shaft mount speed reducer, v-belt drive and drive guard. Setup for 60 rpm.

e. Collecting conveyor is 36” wide x 71’ long with fixed speed 15 h.p. electric motor, Nord helical bevel gearbox; 16” diameter head pulley with 3/8” herringbone lagging mounted on Dodge 2-15/16” SCM pillow block bearings; 14” diameter self-cleaning tail pulley mounted on Dodge 2-7/16” SCM pillow block bearings; screw take-up assemblies; tail terminal guard; head pulley nip guards; PPI CEMA “C” 35 degree troughing idlers with 5” diameter rolls; PPI CEMA “C” return idlers with 5” diameter rolls; 2 ply conveyor belting with 3/16” x 1/16” rubber covers; Flexco 140 mechanical belt splice; Flexco belt scraper; PPI return idler guards installed; belt hold down wheel with shocks; support for discharge end of conveyor. Belt speed setup for 330 feet per minute. Collecting conveyor will have a bolted splice where the last 23’ must be removed for transport.

f. Vertical mixer 3’ diameter x 4’ tall with 10 hp electric motor drive, shaft with 4 rows of 1/2" AR400 mixing blades, Dodge 4 bolt flange bearings, support structure with skid base.

g. Portable trailer constructed of heavy duty wide flange beams which are braced for optimum rigidity; wide flange vertical beams and angle iron cross members tie all hoppers and trailer together; tandem axle chassis with dual 11 x 22.5 tires, air brakes, king pin, rear lighting, mud flaps and blocking pads. Includes hand crank landing legs at the king pin.

h. Bolt on walkway with handrails and access ladder mounted on one side of the hoppers. Includes a short bolt on ladder to get up to the stairs.

i. One finish coat polyurethane gray paint for all equipment and one finish coat polyurethane safety yellow paint for the guarding.

j. Electric motor controls and wiring including main disconnect, variable speed drives for each belt feeder and the mixer, fixed speed starters for the collecting conveyor and agitator, all mounted in a NEMA 4 enclosure, mounted to the trailer frame with wiring to all electric motors.
