2027 Load King 2060-40-2 Dump Trailer

This Load King LK 2060-40-2 bottom dump trailer is built for haulers who want to carry a full 30 ton payload and control exactly how it comes out. At 20 cubic yards struck capacity and an estimated 13,780 lbs empty, it carries a rated 60,000 lb net payload on two 22,500 lb axles, so you get a heavy legal load without a lot of trailer weight eating into it. The 64" x 106" lower hopper opening is sized for fast discharge, and eight gate positions in eight inch increments let the driver meter material for spreading or windrowing instead of dumping it all at once. The gate pivots on replaceable bearings, which keeps it sealing tightly and lowers maintenance cost over time. Operation is handled from the cab or from a remote pendant stored in a protected compartment, and a 60 gallon air tank supports extended gate use. The structure is designed to take abuse. The 100,000/80,000 steel frame, corner-cast lower hopper, and network of braces throughout the superstructure resist twisting and flexing, and the bolt-on push block keeps paving equipment from putting stress on the frame. A rubber bushed fifth wheel plate oscillates with the tractor to reduce frame twist, and the hardwood Apitong sideboards hold up better than the pine commonly used. The 90" x 190" upper hopper opening makes loading from a loader or excavator quicker. The cylinders sit outside the hopper and inside the gate where material can’t damage them. For fleets running aggregate, asphalt, or other bulk material that want to cut discharge time and keep trailer upkeep low, it’s a durable, high-payload trailer.
