2027 Peterbilt 567 Jerr-Dan JD35/40 Ton Rotator Tow Truck
Built for demanding heavy-duty towing and recovery, this 2027 Peterbilt 567 Jerr-Dan JD35/40 Ton Rotator combines a rugged Peterbilt chassis with Jerr-Dan's latest heavy-recovery rotator platform. Power comes from a 565 HP Cummins X15 diesel paired with an Allison 4700 RDS-P automatic transmission, while the 44-inch sleeper provides added comfort and storage for long-distance and extended recovery operations.
The Jerr-Dan JD35/40 features a three-stage 37.5-foot rotating recovery boom with continuous 360-degree operation, dual 35,000-lb Ramsey main winches, a 15,000-lb auxiliary winch, and a 50,000-lb underlift/drag winch. Its S130-style outrigger system and heavy-duty torsion subframe provide the stability needed for demanding side and rear recoveries. Jerr-Dan rates the boom at 70,000 lbs retracted at 30 degrees.
For towing, this truck is equipped with Jerr-Dan's 500LP three-stage underlift, rated at 50,000 lbs retracted, 17,000 lbs extended and 80,000 lbs towing capacity, with up to 147 inches of reach past the tailboard. The build also includes front outriggers, wireless remote controls, a 40,000-lb spreader bar, 25,000-lb tire lift, fifth-wheel attachment, spring forks, recovery rigging packages, underlift and backup cameras, Whelen LED lighting, and Jerr-Dan's Gold tall-tunnel storage package.
