Bobcat Company started in North Dakota in 1947 and is the state’s largest manufacturer, with three North Dakota production facilities. Global Bobcat manufacturing facilities are located in France, Czech Republic and China.

In 2007, Doosan, a global leader in construction equipment, power and water solutions, engines, and engineering, acquired 3 business divisions of Ingersoll Rand US including Bobcat USA. Thus, Bobcat is now a part of Doosan Bobcat North America.

Its new walk-through design offers easier entry into the loader cab. The open carriage design provides optimal visibility to the pallet fork tines when picking and placing materials.

Bobcat has expanded its line of VersaHANDLER telescopic tool carriers, also known as telehandlers, with the new V723 VersaHANDLER telescopic tool carrier. The V723 is in the 7,000- to 8,000-pound size class, and it can confidently handle heavy loads. Its low profile fits on more farms and construction jobsites while easy maneuverability provides operators with enhanced comfort throughout the day. Plus, the new V723 features the Power Quick-Tach attachment mounting system to increase utilization.

Bobcat has rolled out their next generation of undercarriage for compact track loaders--the 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage, which provides increased performance, operator comfort and serviceability. The M2-Series T870 compact track loaders are the first Bobcat loaders manufactured with the new 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage.
