Volvo Construction Equipment’s mid-size loader H-Series 2.0 updates are, excitingly enough, now delivering up to 25% greater fuel efficiency. The L60H, L70H and L90H 2.0 also offer improved tipping loads and maintenance-friendly features. A new and optimized loader arm design also increases payload while a larger hydraulic oil cooler improves the cooling capacity and lowers the hydraulic oil temperature.

Sessions will begin in late October of 2018 and continue through May 2019. Volvo Construction Equipment’s recent update to their Load Assist, On-Board Weighing is now able to provide operators with payload accuracy within ± 1% accuracy. Thanks in part to the help of a new version of the Android platform, owners can access real-time information on every bucket load using the Co-Pilot display. The update will apply to L110H and L260H wheel loaders.

Volvo has recently upgraded their line-up with their all new D-Series, which consists of MC110D, MC115D, and MC135D skid steer loaders, along with MCT110D, MCT125D, and MCT135D compact track loaders. Revamped and improved, this powerhouse series renders a stronger boom design, greater strength, and higher lifting capacities, up to 11 percent. In addition, improved safety and operator comfort means a cab that offers 30 percent more room and up to 60 percent better visibility, giving this series a fierce leg up against the competition.

Volvo knows that the smallest of changes in design can make a huge difference in machine durability, and they are so confident in the design of their excavators that they are now extending their Lifetime Frame and Structure Warranty to all of their wheeled and high-reach demolition excavators. New models that will be covered by the warranty include the EC380EHR and EC480EHR high-reach demolition excavators, and the EW180E, EW160E and EW60E wheeled models. Additionally, four new wheeled excavators that are being unveiled in Spring of 2018 will also be covered.

Volvo Construction has taken the H-Series wheel loader and made it better with their newest update, adding the latest technology to an already proven machine. The update includes next-generation OptiShift and new load-sensing hydraulics and transmissions, which in turn provides faster cycle times and increased fuel efficiency. The H-Series 2.0 Update is currently available for the L150H, L180H and L220H, as well as the recently launched L260H, and additional models are soon to follow suit.

The new DD110C, featuring a 66-inch drum and 24,350-pound operating weight, is Volvo’s latest rollout of highway-class double drum compactor, rounding out the series which already includes the recently introduced DD120C (79-inch) and DD140C (84-inch) models. The new partnership results in the addition of 40 models to Volvo dealer product offerings, including the Allied flagship Rammer and Hy-Ram hydraulic breakers and Ho-Pac and Skid-Pac compactor/drivers. Comparable Volvo-branded products in North America will be discontinued with this new partnership.

The new Volvo EC27D 2.7-ton compact excavator is equipped with a Volvo D1.1A Tier 4 Final engine with passive regeneration and features impressive lifting capacity and more than 9,600 pounds of digging force. Due to the precise matching of the engine to the Volvo hydraulics, the EC27D uses 5 percent less fuel and has 30 percent less horsepower than its predecessor while maintaining the same breakout and tearout forces. The EC27D's size, stability and lifting capacity will make it an ideal candidate for a range of applications.
