The 2026 DEVELON DX230LC-9 is a next-generation 23-ton-class crawler excavator designed for demanding excavation, site development, utility, grading, loading, trenching, and infrastructure applications. The DX230LC-9 is powered by a DEVELON DX05V 5.018-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine featuring common-rail direct injection, twin turbochargers, air-to-air intercooling, and electronic engine control. The engine is designed to meet current emissions requirements and provides strong low-speed torque for demanding digging and loading applications. The DX230LC-9 uses DEVELON's fully electro-hydraulic control system and e-EPOS hydraulic management system. The hydraulic system provides the digging and lifting force needed for heavy excavation while allowing operators to tailor machine performance to the application. The DX230LC-9 provides strong digging, swing, and travel performance for its class with an operating weight of approximately 53,351 lbs.
